Ghostby oksamitComment by kharper: There's so much in this scene that isn't moving, that it took me a minute to find the motion. It's a nice long exposure in low light, but it doesn't really accentuate the motion all that much. |

Ghostby oksamitComment by redmoon: A bit too Where's Waldo for me - are you referring to the blur at the top right? It's just a bit too incidental to really impact on the picture. I also thought the foreground is a little too cluttery and detracts from the action and could have been cropped from this end of the pier... Actually the water, sky and motionless ship are very photogenic and look pretty good. Tough one to score... |

Ghostby oksamitComment by Tallbloke: OK, there's a blurry thing top right and a streak of light ( I think) on the road in the lower foreground. Searched for a ghost then gave up. Well at least it had me looking at your photo for quite a long time :-) |

Ghostby oksamitComment by andywightman: A nice photo but evidence of motion is hard to see at first glance as is the subject that is in motion. |

Ghostby oksamitComment by BobsterLobster: The motion-blur car in this shot doesn't immediately draw the eye... I'd have liked to see it have a more prominent place in your composition. The starburst lights are effective. The combination of natural light and artificial light is difficult to expose for, and I think your white balance is slightly off here... I'd have played around with different colour adjustments in Photoshop for the shadows and highlights. Perhaps more warmth in the shadows, and make the highlights cooler. Composition doesn't do much for me. |
