For the first time ever, I decided to use a graduated filter effect to deepen the sky.

I just bought a set of clear cokin filters to try this without having to hold something in front of my lens. But in my previous experiments, I've never gotten the wonderful smudging of colors you got here. Any tips? How thick was your layer of Vapo Rub? Is that different than Vasoline in its light properties? Did you smear it unevenly? |
