I like this shot! I wish there were a larger depth of field though, seeing sharp fur along the nose would add some nice black texture to frame the already really striking eye. I'd also bump the eye maybe 5% or so to the left (or crop some of the left side), I think it would make the eye and and the strip of hilights in the fur sit nicely.

Nice composition, though I'd suggest playing around with levels to get a better tonal range. There's just not very much black there, but by adding a levels adjustment layer and pulling the left hand input slider toward the right you could 'introduce' some.
