This is my personal favorite of the three..the last one with all the blurring seems to detract from the image, however, this angle and perspective is very appealing...very nice on this one.

That's what I love: pictures that enhance the subject with something really cool to look at, because wood by itself is pretty boring. I hope you are not getting the "subject is the squirrel not the wood" comment. I had a picture something like this for another challenge and it got beat up unmercifully for that reason -- I hope not here because it's really a neat picture. My only suggestion would be that I think it might have been better with a slightly bigger depth of field so the whole wooden log was in focus. But I love it anyway! 8
