Great capture on the image Alice! I like the tilt. The square windows don't make it look to overbearing to me :) Nice rendition on the sky as well. Did you use a CPL on this frame? |
Yes, must have looked really familiar to you! No, no polarizer on this one, just used a bit of "levels" when I got it home to get rid of the gray sky. |

San Francisco Center Detailby sfaliceComment by Rikki: Good eye on this image Alice. More ofthen than not, most people overlook those of which are obvious to many. This is a good example of this.
I'll take the liberty of commenting on this photo. The simple angle of rails in this case, creates tension that works for this image. If it were vertical, I think this image would not have as much interest as it does right now. Of course, the shadows created by the ceiling it quite a thrill in itself. The shadows and lines created implies a smooth, sexy and curvaceous element.
I would study this image in BW. The ochre color is a bit distracting. But on the other hand, is also a nice refreshing splash of color. |

Stair detail,SFMOMAby sfaliceComment by mycelium: wow, this one is very cool. Definitely my favorite of the three. the unusual composition is refreshing, the dark greys beneath the stairs are subtle, and the gradients on the rest of the picture are wonderfully smooth. |
