First Impressions: MooooooOOoooooOOOO!!!!!!

Okay, I'm kinda fond of cows....they're very strange looking, but they have this contemplative look. Your shot's pretty decent cow shot but with room for improvement.

Composition: Good capture of pose. However, it is very centered and the body of the cow forms a "blob" on the left side. I believe a tighter crop to the right would help benefit this photo.

Subject: Cute title, the subject is a good choice and is presented in clarity.

Technical (Colour, focus, and light): Focus is good, the ear furr blurrs out in the background but still works. The shadow falling on the left ear tag creates a distracting element. Makes me wonder if a slightly angled approach could have removed said distracting element. The background is blurred fairly nicely but it comes across slightly noisy for some reason.

Creativity: Fun play with the title... ;-)

To improve?: Approaching from a different angle might help to remove shadow elements and make the photo less "centered". The eye on the left is also difficult to see.

Summary: Not a bad cow shot, but it misses the mark somewhat. Good detail on the furr and texture. Good expression. Nice coloring.

Ohhhhhh. . . what a beautiful cow portrait! She is such a beauty! Her fur looks velvety, and the greens of the grass make a great bokeh background. I happen to love cow pictures, so this one has that extra emotional appeal that makes me vote very high :) 9

Aesthetic:Though the subject is cute and lovable, the image still lacks a bit on composition. Similar color background, in same tones, is not letting the subject stand out.

Technical:The focus looks a little soft. I guess its more due to tighter crop ...is it? Otherwise it is well exposed picture.

Challenge:Offcourse, Anything would fit in for this challenge theme ...so no comments :)

Conclusion:Oveall an average composition. I feel the background and "similar" tones in whole photo make it difficult for the subject to stand out. I feel if the background was burnt and subject was selectively sharpened in photoshop, it might have added some depth to photo. But for sure- you have eye for "interesting" (in this case, cute) subjects :). You really have some great pictures in your profile and I don't feel this one really fits into them. Hope this is just an exception :)
