Lucky you! I tried to grow spider mums for a while. In some ways, I think a greenhouse is required. They are so much fun to look at, it's impossible to resist! There is more BG than mum, almost, so it would be a challenge to get a shot that comes close to what you see. If anyone can, you can! I like the reverse angle very well, & the buttery yellow color. I hope you will take full advantage of having a spider mum easily available & shoot like mad!

I don't think I've ever seen it flower, but then I tend to pick it before it would get the chance. Haven't tried growing it in a jar, though ... that may be fun to try!

This is really something to look and wonder at for quite awhile. It seems to show that he is using every feather in fine tuning his approach - look on ye aeronautics engineers and despair! The asymmetry is a delight.
