pomegranate-seedsby sfaliceComment by JuliBoc: It doesn't look much like a pomegranate seed to me because the color is off -- too yellow. But that doesn't matter; you can make it any color that appeals to you, and I do like the color of this image. I really like the composition. I think this could be very good with some more work on focus and lighting. (I'd use the healing brush on those black spots.) |

pomegranate-seedsby sfaliceComment by bspurgeon: I think this deserves a second attempt. The lighting is not accentuating the pomegranate. The small aperture has declared your task for the weekend! Clean your sensor ;) |

pomegranate-seedsby sfaliceComment by JMart: The extreme aperture give you great DOF but it also reveals some serious sensor dust too. The lighting could use some evening out but there's some great detail to enjoy in your shot. |

Bewildered/Confusedby sfaliceComment by Blackbox: It's a great idea and I like the crop with all the dead space. That I can tell it's a bamboo stalk takes away from the abstractedness - to me. Maybe a conversion to black and white would have put your photo over the top? I think so... |

Ford-Red Light-by sfaliceComment by Mr_Pants: You know, this could almost be a 'space' image from some 1950's science fiction. The light being a sort of structure on a remote and desolate planet. OK, it's time for my colourful pills now. |
