My team and I were marveling at the dearth of comments in this challenge so I thought I would at least attempt to correct that a little:

I love the composition here and the black and white conversion has been done gently, with respect to your subject. The image seems a little out of focus - soft - where I expected crisp lines on the hands, but the play of light across the image is lovely.

For what appears to be a posed shot, this is lacking in critical sharpness. The crenelations of the hand, the wear of the cane, these are integral parts of this shot, and yet are left wanting.
