Hi greetings from the critique club, here goes my thoughts and ideas on your shot. First of all, I love the dew drops!! I think your subject is a little too central and would benefit from being shifted a little to the right, I also think if it was cropped a bit more tightly it would help to highlight the actual subject and cut out the frivilous leaves on ground. I also wonder if there would be a way to get the Sundew to be a little darker, or perhaps a bit might contrast may make it 'pop' out a little more. You obviously have a great eye to find such a beautiful and small subject to shoot, which is great!! Another suggestion may have been to bend that leaf that overlaps the flower out of the way as you took the shot, leaving your subject unobstructed. Keep up the good work noticing the details and interesting subjects around!!
Good work!

need to use some different lighting. The on-camera flash is just too harsh.

the lighting is a little off. looks like direct flash was used, judging by the flare on the grey bible. try using a diffuser or bounced flash to soften it up. nice take on the challenge.

Didn't know it was a strainer until I looked at the title. Was pretty impressed by the tone and shiny texture of the metal. Nice shot.

Great idea! It are a natural edge to the "world´s things". I thought that many DPCs will not see the message behind this shot, but I praise the Lord by people like you. The picture itself is not so stunning, the exposition is high-low areas very contrasting. The "Holy Bible" leters are hidden, but it makes sense, lead to think about waht is it?

The photo may be still a bit blurry, I would have used a bit quicker shutter (The biggest wheel could be more sharp.). Composition, chose of the background is great!
