This is certainly a macro and fits the challenge from that standpoint. From an overall point of view this does not hold a great deal of interest - perhaps because the four points of light underneath the mesh are very distracting. The mesh is also uneven with a roll up to the light on the left and that takes the eye away from your image instead of giving it more to enjoy and think about. The generally uneven quality both of light and of the strainer itself confuse the image and rob it of the clarity I think you were looking for. You might want to think about shooting this again with something colorful under the strainer to bring out the pattern of the mesh and add some interest and with a more diffused light source. Thanks for the image.

Ahhh- nothing like some water in a mason jar out on the prairie! this is similar to my favorite phrase... "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" butr- the background is too distracting here. and the colors look like they might be interesting.

That's a wonderful sentiment, and a nice illustration of it. It has a kind of "snapshot" feel to it, but in this case it works.

This is kinda dull, and I'm not getting the challenge connection. *edit* I get the connection now; and the framing is interesting. Perhaps with more contrast in the background, or just one book, this might have more dramatic impact.
