Very nice pose and expression, definitely conveys the theme to me. B&W is a great choice for it. The rain drops on the window really add to the shot, makes it a bit moody. Gets a 9 from me.

Good luck...

I see a white border and then a black border. Maybe a little bit of distortion in border. I looked and looked but can't see the distortion in the right cheek area. I think it looks fine. Anyhow. I would love to have a picture like this of me. I think you did a super job!

Again, I'd be somewhat careful with sharpening.. It's fairly noticable around your model's right cheek. Also, did you add the border then sharpen? There appears to be an obvious halo between the border and picture. Always sharpen before adding border! :-) An exceptional shot, but I do prefer the others..

Excellent DOF, colour and exposure. Did you edit the eyes separately? The look curiously different colours.. The hair leads perfectly into her gaze, which works very well.

Comment by PaulMdx:
Again, nearing technical perfection from my point of view. (But I'm no portrait photographer....!) The hair that's most in focus near the bottom middle of the shot seems more in focus than the rest, which is somewhat distracting. I'd have been tempted to blur it very lightly to reach the same level as the rest of the hair. As Laurie says, a tad more sharpness on the eyes may be an improvement.

Comment by Neil:
Very nice--the soft focus works for me EXCEPT in the eyes. Those should be sharp here.

I really don't like the soft focus on her face. Looks a bit fake. Excellent lighting though
