Deceitful Passion of Captivityby librodoComment by Jutilda: I can see this on a movie poster for sure. The intensity of the eyes is a bit surreal, but that's perfect for a movie promotion. Although the description said to only use three words, I'm not going to downgrade your vote because of the "of" in your title. Nicely done. |

Deceitful Passion of Captivityby librodoComment by hetre: Absolutely gorgeous! The title fits the photograph perfectly and the way you captured the eyes really makes the photo pop. You have a great model here. Well done! |

Deceitful Passion of Captivityby librodoComment by hotpasta: There was a lot of talk on the forum about whether OF could be used because the challenge said 'three words'...I won't be so hard on this shot as I would on others who had 4 words because the photgraph is so stunning...what amazing eyes...I think another title would have worked better for you as I am sure that you'll have comments about the word OF...what about Deborah Paige's Crimes or Dead Poet's Corner or whatever...this is a WOW shot 9 |

The (Almost) Invisible Manby librodoComment by eschelar: As another asian resident, I also see this all the time and it bothers me a lot at how callous people are towards these individuals. They get jaded because of so many people who try to make an extra scene of themselves... I've seen people using magic markers, lipstick and nail polish to try to accentuate minor and sometimes non-existant wounds.
So it is not surprising that people are cold to this type of person.
But when you see the ones that are genuinely damaged goods, it is heartbreaking to see the apathy around them.
Your picture has captured a beautiful moment where the innocence of youth shows through as unmarred by the distant uncaring stance of the adults around. Great stuff!
It is interesting to see the difference in individuals in these situations. The ones that are in real dire straits often appreciate a few kind words as much as a small donation. |
