"Nature"ly framedby TruegshtComment by sammy_stecchino: Good colors, exposure, and framing. Good job capturing the theme, but the "subject" within the natural frame could have been stronger. Overall really good shot though. |

underwater camoby TruegshtComment by Jinjit: No comments? on a challenge pic? how bizzare!!!
Great photo. I love the details of the fish and I like your DOF and spotlight.
A couple of suggestions I would have (if I may..) are try (in photoshop) to lower the saturation of the background a little. It's tad too red. Such lovely fish should stand out a lot more in the photo.
Also, try re-shooting with your spotlight coming from a lot higher then it is right now, so that the shadow of the fish will be lost in the bottom part of the anyway dark background.
Still, I think it's a crime not having any comments on this one. I think it's a great take on that challenge and I'm sorry I didn't get to vote then. |

Remembranceby TruegshtComment by Arcanist: Ah. This image. In the thread of which I linked to it from, the image becomes so much more powerful than when discovered under the Silhouettes challenge. Now with no pretext of the challenge, the image becomes powerful. The colors of the sky indicate a torment, but even in the shadows, the one important thing draws the eye to it and to the blue sky that it becomes a path to. |

A new dayby TruegshtComment by ergo: I've entered an image like this in a previous challenge. My shot was blurry due to the long exposure and camera shake, but I thought there was enough definition anyway to enter it. I do like such shots, but to some extent, I feel that this image's "problems" are similar to the problems pointed out for my shot. There's not enough details on the image as a whole, and what I think is an evidence of camera movement is exhibited by the main source of light, which isn't perfectly round. |

A new dayby TruegshtComment by Catherine_B: Nice try to capture what must have been a beautiful sun in clouds. I don't care for the overprocessed feel of this photo and wish there was more detail in the sky and clouds. |

A new dayby TruegshtComment by LadeeM: Very dark. I'd like to see the original image. Not that I mind grainy, but it's almost too grainy. The reds and hues are great, but I just wish it were a little brighter ... |
