Sunday Afternoon Teaby bsluijkComment by nam: I also prefer the color version - especially for the area where the pot is directly against the background like the spout. It stands out better in color. For the body of the pot and the window reflection, I might prefer the black and white. I would also like either more or none of the knob on the top. Nice lines and shape. |

Horseby bsluijkComment by nam: Ann picked up on the two things that impressed me - lighting and textures. Nice. |

Horseby bsluijkComment by Ann: Ahh...one of those images that finishes somewhere in the middle, but nobody gives you a clue what went wrong. I hate that when that happens. As far as the image itself, the lighting is good, you've given a very good view of the textures. I think why it finished somewhere in the middle on the challenge was the subject matter. Pictures sculpture just don't do that well. |

Sunday Afternoon Teaby bsluijkComment by Kroburg: Nice reflections with good focus on the tea pot and lovely bokeh and (warm) colours. Only thing with reflections: the surface must be 100% clean and shiny. On the tea pot you can see marks of brushing and wiping (especially seen in the bright areas around the big window).
I also like the B&W version (maybe even more). |

Week 2by bsluijkComment by sfalice: Okay, here's my 'non-technical' thoughts on this critter.
If you can move it around, I'd get to know this guy by
shooting it at different angles and lighting. Even a flashlight can give some
interesting shadows. Or if you happen to have (or can make) a light table, you can
diffuse the light from underneath and see what happens.
right now, your critter is a little boring, but with some different angles and
lighting, he could be a star. |

Horseby bsluijkComment by beatabg: Great light and textures. Love it in b&w. Interesting that it doesn't have legs |
