This has an old world masters feel to it. I like how the tree leans toward the beautiful island treasure in the lower left. It might have been even more dramatic had you waited 5-10 more minutes to shoot, then done the shot. IMHO, it could benefit from a crop of the top so you are into the dark branches on the left, making the inner edge of the tree on the line just past the rule of thirds or so the tree edge is in the top middle. I don't care for the thin black edge I am seeing This would make an interesting oil painting.

Started looking at all the photos. Had to keep myself from yawning. This was the first one where I woke up. Excellent photo 8 from me. I sorry that I'm so harsh, but I'm starting to find my way in the voting process and I keep asking myself this question...would I want to hang it on my wall and look at it for years to come?? ... does it hold my interest to make me want to look at it and imagine myself being there? ... This may be a screwed way to look at photos, but I'm learning.
