Manhattan to the East River to Queens to the Edge of the Earthby deadd0gComment by Dave Gordon: Nice capture of midtown Manhattan and part of Queens. I'd like it a little brighter; I think this would bring out the detail better. I grew up in New York, and I believed the city limits represented the ends of the world, but having lived in other places I have come to realize there is a great world outside of the five boroughs. |

Manhattan to the East River to Queens to the Edge of the Earthby deadd0gComment by Pedro: let me be the first (or second or third fourth fifth) to mention the border. drop shadows and 'creative' borders do not fare well here. mostly because they're ugly ;). as for the shot - it lacks some definition in content (no clear theme) but i see what youwere going for, and I like the B&W idea. a nice addition to your portfolio either way. The Machine in Natureby deadd0gComment by vadvirag: Original idea. :-) I would like to see this photo bigger, and I would have cropped the sky as it being so white leads my eyes away from the car. Just a bit improvement, it would be a very nice shot! |
