the perfect collage. the crane without its vehicle to "balance" it creates a profound sense of weight. the rest is just an aesthetically pleasing assemblage of shapes and lines and color and textures. A very "flat" image. 9

This is one of the strongest machinery entries in this challenge. The play off between the curves of the bucket and the rectangles in the background are wonderful. I also love how the arm of the bucket is the most saturated color in the image.

I don't know how you did that, but the way this worked out I just finished voting on the image titled "On Sunday, this excavator is .................".



Then I see this image and the title is "At Rest". Too funny! ;^)

Actually, I like this tighter shot better. A little easier to isolate the subject (less busy).
