Hmmm, this entry doesnt really appeal to me very much. I think you should have used a ripe banana, as this one looks quite old and battered and that kind of puts me off. Also, the focusing on this isn't all that good, try it in macro mode if you can't focus up that close. The bottom of the banana is cropped out aswell, which kind of messes up the frame in my opinion.

I like the composition of this, and the colour processing you did gives it an interesting texture. It departs a bit from the vibrancy of most of the other photos in this challenge and looks more sober and serious. I like that.
