Good work, really has caught the graininess of the frost flowers. Nice gentle even light, though poerhaps you might have poushed the contrast a touch further without compromising anything. Some sense of more general shapes to keep the eyye happy with the composition, but that's where it falls down for me - don't feel it would hold my attention for very long.

A difficult subject. Apart from it being grey not pure white IMHO it needs a certain something to give "punch" it may be the lighting or the DOF that just lets it down that little bit. Not sure!
