Nice idea. The shape of the bird is clever. Overall, I think there's too much in the photo - particularly the outline of what looks like an A frame that you seem to be holding up. I seems too busy, IMHO.

Good idea, good lighting. Composition could have been better - the tight framing could work well, but it's so tight it has a bit of a square, blocked off feel - you don't get the feel of the ball in the glove, the two together, but the ball to one side (vertically), the glove to the other. A real baseball would have photographed better. Good effort.

I find the background a bit too busy for me to focus on the shadow. I don't think it was a bad idea but it doesn't seem to work. I'm guessing it's the grass along with the shadows. Just too busy.
