You've captured wonderful texture in this shot. The lighitng gets just a little hot towards the bottom right but this is a wonderful capture. Your choice of duotone was right for me. The increasing number of slats in the upper right are a slight annoyance but I don't think a tighter crop would have been as meaningful or presented as moody a shot to me.

Great lighting here, and I like the expressions on the boy's face and his head melting in the darkness. But his clothes are quite bad IMHO for this portrait. The white stripes on his T-shirt�s neck always leads my eyes away from his face, as this is the whitest area on your photo. I would have chosen a dark T-shirt, to make his face the brightest area on the photo, it would make this photo excellent, this way it looks a bit strange to me.
