A very sleek animal indeed. Animal shots are very similar to human shots in regards to some of the features to look out for. One thing they suggest you not do is to have the background going 'through' the head. Another is the importance of the eyes. Eyes communicate with the viewer and as with humans, animal eyes show a lot of character. You got good even lighting, the coloration is also good, and it's nicely sharp. I dont think the amount of background used establishes enough of a setting to be too useful and the full body pose looks a little awkward. The head is upright and alert and so I would have been inclined to zoom or crop in a little more to isolate the markings and texture.
