Raptorsby RUEDISCHMUTZComment by tristalisk: I think a bit more color/light in the eye would have been nice but hey.. I gues when it comes to models a raptor is probably not the most co-operative. great job one of my top 3 picks. |

Raptorsby RUEDISCHMUTZComment by CraigD: This is really good, but it seems difficult to believe that this is a marco shot, and not a telescopic shot. |

Hold tight, we are almost thereby RUEDISCHMUTZComment by e301: Good capture, good detail, effective compositionally. I like the posed feeling here (obviously it isn't actually posed, but it has that feeling). You could absolutely sell this to whatever zoo you took it in, I would think. Not sure why I don't rate it as a top shot - it's obviously done with great care, patience, expertise, and the rest - I guess I'll just have to say I don't like it much, despite appreciating all that ... sorry. 6 |

Hold tight, we are almost thereby RUEDISCHMUTZComment by dwterry: I love the depth of field... the sharpness of the monkey against a beautifully blurred background. The exposure and colors are superb. The one recommendation I would make (and this might not have been possible) is that animals, like people, are more interesting when you can see their faces. You've got a profile here and that's great... had she turned just a little more towards the camera, enough to really see the eyes, I think it would have been perfect. Great job! I hope you do well in the challenge! |
