At the fun fair - the octapussyby RUEDISCHMUTZComment by christinamtodd: I really like the way you captured this subject. Because it's off center and seems to shoot from the bottom corner of the frame it keeps the viewers eyes moving and really conveys a sense of action.
I think the colors are fantastic and I really like the motion blur of the ride. That said however, I'm not so crazy about the motion blur in the background because it makes all the motion blur makes it difficult to look at this photo for long because you start to feel like you just stepped off the ride. On the other hand, I think it's great that your photo can produce this result, but aesthetically speaking it would be an even stronger image if you had used a tripod so that you didn't have blur in the background.
Oh, and for the record, it's okay for you to call this place a fun fair. It's true that people say carnival in the US but that doesn't mean you have to.
