Many times the reflection is good, but I think in this case, it's working to your disadvantage. The scene in the background seems so charming, and yet we can't see it very well. Seeing the reflection of the mirror seems to dilute the power of her isolation, though in some ways I can still justify it. Would recommend using a circular polarizer to reduce the reflection, if that is your desire.

It annoys me that the photographer cares so little that they couldn't be bothered to make any comments about the location and the shot.

Too bad the tree is backlit. Next time try looking for pictures with the sun towards your back or off to the side.
