Such a tight crop does not indicate if the bird is living in it's natural environment or in a cage. A looser crop would have been more appropriate as per the challenge description.

Wow, this is a terrific composition, I just wish I could see the detail in the bird. We're just drawn to the head forst and then to the amazing cloak and to not be able to really study it is a shame.

Winding Road is a prefect shot for the Road challenge. I think the simplicity of the shot is the most appealing. The shot personally makes me feel like traveler on vacation who has finally reached the bed and breakfast that we have been traveling towards.

I like the snow and the clean lines in the shot. The composition is excellent. The road is prefect clear and takes us somewhere. The only thing I would have tried in the shot was maybe possibly moving the shot over so that the inn or house is on the left side more so the house is on the first third of the shot. I really do like the shot and think the score is pretty decent and the Top 20 is not bad at all. Excellent work.
