Nice idea but somehow there is not enough contrast between the real thing and the background. DoF is just right, but somehow it does not stand out for me...

"This photo was discovered as the last shot on the camera before the photographer disappeared...". I like the shallow DOF, but the focus point seems to be at the back of the head, so the eyes are a little bit fuzzy.

I like the line of this photo a lot - good "S" shape. Meets the challenge and is interesting, though I could do with some more dynamism in the colour, and a little more "wow" factor on the eye.

John, That's what water looks like at 1/1000 shutter speed. I didn't sharpen it at all. Ugh.

adorable! the lighting is really nice here, and the refreshing pool of water gives another point of interest & color which contrasts well with those rocks, and the bears themselves...
