Love it! bumping up again! Can't seem to say anything for improvement other than if there was a way you could have made the head of the watch not be in the photo it may have been less distracting - but the blurred bacground behind the font helps this balance! Great work! 9

Unusual idea to sell a watch by the buckle.... my guess is that it wouldn't be effective advertising. The image presented is very well done and I think you could have used the watch face under the writing rather than the lined thing.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

What the animals see. Interesting perspective. You're right about the girl though, she's thinking what a cool monkey and what silly parents I have, while the monkey is thinking, "What is wrong with these people?" LOL!

This is a very nice snapshot type picture to me. Captures a moment of the family, teaching their child and a great capture of a moment in time.

What I see is lots of bamboo and rocks and not a lot of people per say. There are many distractions in this shot and they all take away from the main subject. Possibly a different crop would really help bring the people to the center of attention but not necessarily the center of the shot. I like the fact they are just off to the side a bit but there is too much on the left trying to take my attention away from them. Using my magic envelopes and cropping this in a bit tighter, come in on the left to the edge of the rock, taking out the distracting stick in the lower left corner, come in on the right to the mom's shoulder, taking out most of the coat and light colored bamboo on the right and come in from the bottom to the bottom rail, taking out most of the rock and it really brings out the subject and still leaves enough enviorment for the viewer to know where the subject is.

The colors are good, lack any real pop value, perhaps a slight tweek in the levels to make them stand out a bit more or curves?

Again, lovely overall shot, hope my comments help!

Text is too overpowering for this photo. Good color choices. Utilitarian.

Rather attractive more as an awareness campaign for the brand. Very well done with outstanding detail. Bumping up.

Critique Club Critique

(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) Well composed. It is almost reminiscent of a photo of many CDs, and only upon closer inspection the real subject is revealed. The scene is also very interesting, making this a photograph that keeps the attention of the viewer for a long period of time. The longer one looks at it, the more interesting details come to light. This is a photograph that would not do as well in a thumbnail view, as many of the really interesting details are lost.

(2) BACKGROUND This is really not as issue with this photograph, as the subject and background are one.

(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL Exposure is good. Composition is strong.

(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL The blue cast to everything puts a surreal feeling into the photograph, as well as adding to the feeling of cold. The surreal feeling is almost like pulling the viewer into a dream world. This is one of the dominate aspects of this photograph.

(5)MEETING THE CHALLENGE This photo does a very good job of meeting the challenge.

(6) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO A very interesting photograph that needs more than the typical 2 second viewing. I love the random chaos of it all.

nice capture, clean, crisp. Well lit. However, I doubt that the buckle is the most interesting part of that watch.
