I like the border. I think you cropped to close to the right edge of the white sign though - it almost touches the border at the top-right. An equal gap on bottom, right and top of the sign would be good. Colour and focus is good - short DOF really make the white sign the focal point for my eyes. Of course it's not really a road sign, but I guess you saw it on a road so I'll let that one pass.

Nice signs and nice photo. Nice colors and focus and composition. But I don't see any "street signs" to meet the challenge with, and meeting the challenge is half of the project. It's a shame because this really is a good photo.

Very colorful and a good capture. Are these signs also considered street signs? I guess that is a matter of opinion. But I don't think they really do.

I think you did a great job of capturing humor in this image :) Somehow, I think this 'subject' enjoyed this assignment.. lol... The look on his face was the deciding element in this photo for me...

I can't really offer you much real critique on this image because all of the elements come together so nicely. The directional lighting creates a nice drama for this shot that would not have been possible with more light. The balance of light and dark is perfect. The light on the background also helps separate your subject from the background. The detail of his hair is quite visible and not washed out.

Keep up the good work... I have enjoyed watching what you post here :)

note to anyone who reads this: the camera used was a > $200 1.3 mpx model. showing that you don't need to be wealthy to take good pictures :) ..
