I think this one could have been better with some kind of natural lighting rather than using a flash. The trouble with the flash is the harsh shadows in the background. The wood paneling works well as a background. The bench, however, is distracting. So perhaps a repositioning the items or shooting from a different angle would have helped as well.

he flash shadow is really bad in this image, you need to think more about the lighting and not just take the first image possible.

You have a dramatic subject, and an iconic composition, but the flash attached to the camera gave you flat lighting. This exact same shot with available lighting would have been much better.

Sorry, but red, even in this pretty picture, doesn't convey silence to me! A red sky over a city skyline conveys energy, activity, noise, all that stuff. Pretty picture, but missed the challenge IMHO

a response which I know is very personal but there seems so much noise in a city that although you have presented it in its most peaceful time I still don't find it "silent"
