Scullerby GoodEndComment by espy2: I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.
An ok candid for me. I do like the tones, but just not a lot of interest here for me. Nothing pops. I do like the rowboat, but I guess I am looking for a corrulation between the rower and the boat. Would have been really nice to see the expression while rowing and the strength from that portrayed, but then that is the photo that isn't shown so I won't vote based on that. I do give this a 5 though for tones and techs. |

The Holly Bibleby GoodEndComment by notesinstones: Interesting concept, and well thought out. Wondering if the light sources could have been brought closer to the book and garbo to sharpen the edges? Still, its a nice photo and good job keeping the exposure right without too dark shadows or blownlights. |

Getting Wingsby GoodEndComment by notesinstones: Excellent job panning, getting the timing right is usually the hardest part - though it sounds like getting the shot at all was hard on this day! |

Hulkby GoodEndComment by notesinstones: I keep coming back to this because it makes me smile. Good choice of color , the green is vibrant without being sickly. Next time you can try putting something in front of the subject as a reflector (a white piece of cardboard, or even a cookiesheet wrapped in tinfoilf) to bring out more detail in your silhouette. Great job! |

While Wind Blowsby GoodEndComment by notesinstones: Nice photo, the lines of the mast and reflections create a good leading line to pull your attention. Only little suggestion is to watch the rule of thirds in the crop, but thats only a little suggestion. Good tone and detail. |

A quiet placeby GoodEndComment by GoodEnd: Originally posted by helgihelgi: Less post-processing and a tighter crop from the top would have been better. Jiffying up the colors is okay, but easy does it |
I´m sorry to disapoint you,but there is no post process at here. Only a crop! |

Hulkby GoodEndComment by lawree: I like the concept and the green lighting, but the subject is just too dark in my opinion and there is very little detail. |
