To begin with, no I'm not a kid, and any comment that is sarcastic and demeaning does not help me learn anything either.

No, the shot did not take a second to set up. I set up many different variations of the scene and finally decided to submit this one. If you would read the threads under "current challenge" about still life you will find that many people found this a difficult subject.

I feel I did well for my first entry. At least I did a classic definition of "still life" and didn't submit a nature or pet shot.
