I certainly can't see any way for this NOT to make the front page. When I drove home from work I hoped to see some crazy scene - this is cooler than anything I had imagined. I like the selective desat - The only crit I'd give would be the lines outliningh the border sorta tweak in the CW direction - maybe a slight distortion correction would help. Still worthy of a 9.

The image seems overly "busy", but the pseudo-focal point (the protesters signs on the trash can) does hold my interest briefly.
