Morning Coffee and Prayerby EmerauldeComment by TooCool: I like what you are doing with this shot, but the cup (i'm sure it's in the finish of the cup itself...) looks dirty and this creates an unpleasant affect. If you used an all white cup or another color (carmel or brown would be PERFECT) this would keep the color scheme and make a much more pleasing affect!

"Ramona Quimby, Age 9"by EmerauldeComment by Neil: Good idea. Just wish you had taken the angle without things right behind her, seemingly rising from her head. Also, I think I'd rather see more light on her, if shadow, they would look better the reverse of the way they show here, if you understand what I mean. |

My Windowby EmerauldeComment by jmritz: Tracy, wonderful picture. Composition, light, color all add up to a very nice piece. And the Title is perfect. It conveys more than just the apparent, the possibility the eyes are the window; your eyes are the window. And what they see can appear infinite.
Nice thoughtful entry. jmritz

Morning Coffee and Prayerby EmerauldeComment by Neil: Good perspective, surface choice. But the drops all over the cup are kind of subjectively unattractive. Fresh full cup of coffee would have been great. This is the right perspective though. There was another one, a picture of a starbucks cup, and i told him do do something like this (even before I saw yours!) |

Work Can Waitby EmerauldeComment by bod: Hey, how'd you get in my office? That's my phone!
Overall I like this shot. The angle is great, as is the lighting (ah, not my phone - mine has never seen the sun!). The cord across the front adds to the depth nicely.
Only thing I don't like is the background visible above the phone, personally I would crop that out. |
