Look at the histogram on this image and compare it to some of your flatter images. get that sort of subject matter to have this sort of pop and you will be on your way. |

It sounds like the vignette was way too dark so I wonder if my monitor is set too bright or I just made a bad decision on this.
The photo was taken while visiting my gran at a nursing home with my compact camera. A quick shot!! |
