I find that for me the little bit of background visible above the bottle on the right sort of spoils the symmetry and I like it more when I scroll it down a fraction and cut the tops off the background bottles a bit more. Cherry Blossomsby DenielleComment by jomari: I never got around to viewing/voting this challenge. I think I would have deducted a point or two from the aspect of the composition, the subject is on the side, rather than in a corner. Otherwise it is a rather appealing piece - very oriental. |

A Journey Togetherby DenielleComment by jomari: The two boys setting off along the railway really conveys a sense of adventure as well as friendship and your title says it well. Free studies are tough and this would probably have done better in a specific challenge. (It sucks that the specific challenges don't coincide with our appropriate shots.) |
