when you got noneby sergutComment by brianlh: i'm guessing this wasn't someone you knew just posing for you. if it was, a brick wall might have been a better backdrop. even so, i think the distortion of the (fish-eye?) lens works well. the shiny car kinda detracts from it, but the black and white adds back again. 6. |

Papier d'Arménieby sergutComment by moodville: Not sure if there is a story there with the title and the type of paper that's burning, but it sounds expensive. The composition is good, no bad reflections on the chrome/metal disk (which is good), although I think the edge may be cropped a little too close. The lighting is good, especially on the smoke, which I understand to be a difficult thing to photograph correctly. It's a good shot. |

Papier d'Arménieby sergutComment by amsmyth: Interesting response to challenge but the light on the back of the plate is very distracting. Nice smoke |

Unbearable lightness of beingby sergutComment by sergut: Dear Doc, thank you again for your time and effort: your behavour towards exellency is what pushes people like me into the right direction: putting myself into question and trying to act for the better.
Just for documentation: here's a temporary page on the net to show potencial customers what i do //www.users.skynet.be/panoman.
You will understand that my actual photography -exept for the panoramic- depresses me a lot, because altough i would want it to be creative and interesting, my mind is not UP to it, (life is in a hard phase just now). Well with the help and attention of people like yourself, it's feeling a good vibe from time to time and getting the right energy. |

Papier d'Arménieby sergutComment by ogdenm: Personally, I would have prefered the smoke to be sharper and perhaps a bit more rim lighting on the tray. |

Papier d'Arménieby sergutComment by SharQ: I guess this is some form of incense, yes? But papier d'armenie means nothing to me, and the smoke is too blurred. Use more light or a higher ISO value to get a shorter shutter time. Nice lighting though. (4) |
