The Kozakby smokeditorComment by whatdewuc: Nice portrait study. Nice crop. It looks as if the background is a roadway with a center strip, which pulls me away from the horseman. |

The Kozakby smokeditorComment by Kha0S: Perfect DOF, awesome color (great pants!), and balanced composition. I really like the detail in his face and the saddle. |

The Kozakby smokeditorComment by wkmen: nice portrait, tough to expose, got a couple of blow-outs on the shirt but the horse would have been too dark right? |

The Kozakby smokeditorComment by Konador: The DoF does well to blur out the background. It would have been nice to get some catchlights in his eyes (or drawn them in during post processing) just to give the shot a little more emotion. 6 |

The Kozakby smokeditorComment by wkoffel: The neck of the horse I find distracting as it exits the frame. Also, I wish the man were looking into the camera for a more emotive look. The blue colors are beautiful, and the DOF is perfect. |

Definition of a Derivativeby smokeditorComment by skylen: Cool composition!! I love how the ring is in sharp focus and then it fades into the everlasting blur. I wonder what the background is we see through the hole?
It seems not quite straight however. I would rotate clockwise a degree or so, so that the line in the centerwas completely vertical. These centered compositions are *exceedingly* demanding of perfection in framing and cropping. |
