Abandoned Padlockby darcyComment by sfalice: It took good seeing to find this one and the composition is delightful. Good colors and nice shadows. Um, border patrol: I'd have probably gotten rid of that little right lower corner bit of fencing. |

Abandoned Padlockby darcyComment by ericsuth: one of the top three in my opinion, clean design but the contrasting colors is what truely drew me in. I looked for reasoning behind shots not just a pretty rusty object and in this one i rationalized that the lock dealt with the certainity and inability to change the course of deterioration. |

Abandoned Padlockby darcyComment by andywightman: A tricky shot in which to get the exposure right. Unfortunately, exposing correctly for the sky leaves the padlock badly underexposed. You could have tried a light fill in flash to solve this. As it is, the padlock, which is a key element in the photo is too dark for my liking. Otherwise it's a nicely composed shot. |
