Very lovely concept to communicate! Your white background is very appropriate here, and the centered composition works well. You used a flash, and that caused some harsh highlights and shadows, so next time, try just going outside and shooting such an object in the shade on a bright day (I do most of my shots on my porch). Your colors and tones will be more natural and more inviting.

Like the attempt at high key here! good composition, but I would like to see the crop a little looser at the top. The cross seems to confined within the frame. The shadow is the only thing that detracts from the color scheme here. Give it a little back lighting and little less glare on the hands and it would be nearly perfect!

Wow, this is beautiful! The light catches it well, but there may be a little too much shadow towards the bottom of the picture. Or maybe its just me.

I really like this idea, anyway I would have left just as much space from the cross on the top, as you left on the sides, and I think it's a little bit noisy, too.

Looks quite empty and lonely indeed! I'm guessing flash was used - it lit everything up just right. Focus is good, colors are well indicated. I would prefer to not have the branch up in the corner or the pale bit of sky in the background. Possibly centering the shot a bit lower, so you'd be able to crop out the top and leave in the bottom that's currently missing is a suggestion. Also waiting until it is completely nighttime, so that you'd have a nice inky black background would keep the distracting lighter colored corner a non-issue. Just suggestions of course. A good image overall. 6
