Good composition. Difficult to get the timing and focus correct no doubt. Is it an optical illusion that overall the image appears missing red/warmth because of the overpowering purple? I think you missed the focus on the eyes of the insect. The nose and tips of the antennae appear ok. Background is great and makes the image stand out. I just think that to be "up there" insect eyes have to be focussed.

This seems like a beautiful location, and the water is nicely captured. The image seems a bit soft, especially in the rocks, and might benefit from some sharpening?
