Focus is really bizarre in this - have you softened it? Like the leading lines effect, though the solidity of the water tower pulls the eye quite strongly too - in fact might form an intersting balance t the primary compositional elements of the rails and the engine. Burnt out sky, and those poles and posts seem cluttered rather than evocative. 4

I thought of doing a shot like this one, but didn't find the time to get up on the tracks and wait. Also didn't want to make the engineers nervious as of late there has been a rash of train vs people accidents around here. Nice shot...

Good, good, good. Might have been more amusing to crop out the town and clone away that distracting streetlight to get an odd juxtaposition of the butte and stoplights.
