Which Way?by flip89Comment by NovaTiger: Fisheye's are really neat, but I think that the subject of this shot is not particularly gripping. |

Which Way?by flip89Comment by kloutit: good exposure under difficult conditions. distortion exaggerated enough to be interesting and not distracting.

Red Studyby flip89Comment by LeeD: **Critique Club**
Initial Impression: An good shot, but something seems a little off.
Detailed analysis: I love the colors of this shot, but there is something about it that I can't quite put my finger on. I think the perspective seems a bit offish. It could be the irregularity of the chairs. I think maybe cropping out the nearest section of chairs could help. The seatbacks of the section your model is sitting in break up the image too much IMHO. I also can't help but wonder what it would look like with more "red" in front of the model and less behind her. I would also like to see versions taken from the side and from in front from a low perspective to include a lot of the red (as you have done from behind).
Overall Impression: Pretty good shot but the blurry chairs in the foreground are a bit distracting. With a slightly different perspective and/or cropping could grab a ribbon. |

Photographer In Actionby flip89Comment by bowronfam3: I think this photo would have worked very nicely if you had cropped it down so that there was none of the background showing. Interesting concept, but the subject just doesn't stand out at you. |
