This definately fits the challenge no question there that dog expresses the freedom we give to out pets.

Your score seems rather low to me...more than likely the busyness of the background...even though it is out of focus the background is very distracting and I'm sure it hurt you greatly.

Also a little more detail to the dogs head and face would have helped...although his colors make it hard to see the eyes, being able to see them would have helped as well.

Very nice. Good usage of DOF and the mainsubject is pretty sharp. The lightning could maybe have been better to give better expression of the texture. But as I said, very good.

Lovely tree. I do like the background choice; the shot overall is a bit too dark for my taste. I like the glass detail on the lower far right, but there is not enough to draw my eye elsewhere.
