Wish I Knew What You Were Thinkingby flip89Comment by BobsterLobster: Great capture, the eyes are extremely expressive here. The composition/crop seems a bit of an afterthought though, the eyes look oversharpened and the dof is too shallow. The white background element on the left of the frame should have been cloned out, it's quite distracting. The overall gamma seems very high, the photo looks a bit washed out. I'd lower the gamma and increase the contrast. 6 |

Wish I Knew What You Were Thinkingby flip89Comment by brownt: Looks like a really sad gorilla here, as you've said in your title, I wish I knew what it was thinking.
Good choice of B&W, just below it's ear seems a little hot though. 8 |

Wish I Knew What You Were Thinkingby flip89Comment by dartompkins: Very nice. You dont really get the eyes in this shot. I wonder what an even closer crop that showed only the facial features would look like. I see a very nice picture of a gorilla, but without the eye expression I don't really wander what he is thinking. 8. |

Wish I Knew What You Were Thinkingby flip89Comment by _wu_: To be honest I can't see any reason why you made this picture B&W. It carries no feeling. I would take the contrast to the edge if it had to be b&w. Still I love the sadness on it's face.
I love the shot in general but not the b&w approach |
