What Really Happens During Ovulationby flip89Comment by photom: Not exactly wacky foods - but the ttle is wacky enough. Nice image with plenty of detail. The white semicircle at the base should have been moved out of the way. Excellent exposure. |

Wish I Knew What You Were Thinkingby flip89Comment by SandyP: Beautiful portrait. He looks so sad. I wish I knew what he was thinking too. Because he's so incredibly cute -- whatever he would want -- he would get. I love how close up this is. You can see every detail of his fur, and the wrinkles on his face. 9 |

Wish I Knew What You Were Thinkingby flip89Comment by willem: Great sad expression, great eye contact. Good details in the fur. Not sure about the crop, especially the top touching the edge, maybe crop it much smaller to focus even more on the expression ? |

Boredby flip89Comment by sfalice: And they are all (or almost all) facing into the wind! This is a good study of those ducks and shows off the coloring nicely. Good one. |

Chasing Breadby flip89Comment by jaredldr: Cool stopped motion shot. The focus seems to be on the belly of the left bird. IMO a little bit deeper DOF and faster shutter speed would have helped.
Good luck on the challenge. |

Chasing Breadby flip89Comment by moodville: Seagulls can be very tough to shoot. You've captured the action of the moment very well and show the erratic, desperation that usually comes when these birds are looking for food. You've established their environment with the beach and the rocks. The exposure looks a little off as they're normally very bright white birds and here they look a little grey, but being slightly underexposed is better than being overexposed. In an ideal world, unless you were going for artistic impression, both birds being in focus and sharp would have better, but I still believe you have captured the mood of the moment. |
