Are you sure it's an oak? Ok for dying in grace and beauty, but not with these colors. Seems hue manipulations has been a bit exaggerated., but the idea is good and the way the leave is leaning is well seen.

A good image. Normally I'd say it doesn't really fit all alone, but the focusing does make the man with the ax stand out and look separated. The focus is good, I like the low lighting as well, unfortunately the color seems a little washed out - not sure if that is because of the light or not. Good emotional impact. Nicely done. 7

I think I would have liked all of them in focus, even though I understand your choice. I notice the wedding band which just reminds me of the families losses. Good photo for an article.

my suggestion would be to take out the foliage in the foreground - I'm assuming that your using it for dof, but the pic would be more "dramatic" imo without. Just a thought. the reflections are good and the fog is nice too - something tells me you took that way too early in the morning!
