I like the duotone and the light on the statue's head. And now I'll go visit a shrink and try to find out why I'm drawn to the darkness . . .

	Palm Patterns by dcano Comment by Neil: Nice work; the light through the leaves and opposing patterns are great here. I think it might be interesting to try it without the right non-translucent side; whereas the overall pattern makes a nice picture, the dynamics are strong enough on the left.

	Palm Patterns by dcano Comment by LucidLotus: Very nice! I really like the use of light in this photo. Simple but elegant, great focus, nice color. I think I'd prefer the fencing or net being shadowed on the fronds not to be there, but it works well this way too. Nice capture. 7
