Not at all sure how this is supposed to show conflict. Not a good photo technically, either...the ribbon over the face is very distracting. The viewer has no idea of what type of balloon the ribbon is attached to; a "Happy Birthday" balloon in this setting would make all the difference in the portrayal of "conflict"

nice pic, but (for me) does not fit the challenge well - it doesn't say 'conflict' without an explanation. Show the pic to strangers, and say nothing. Ask "What is the first thing that comes to mind?" or even 'What is the conflict in this image?' and let me know if anyone gets it.

Not sure who Anna K is so I'm guessing the conflict is over child custody? Mom looks a bit worried but the dad/grandpa looks at ease and calm. The child is cute and looks like she caught you snapping at them :) This looks more like a snapshot type picture or might even qualify for journalism type if there was a full story to go with it. This really does nothing for me. They say to give comments for images you rank low, but my point is sometimes one can't find much to say - and in this case that is true.

I will have a go though ;)

The effect you have done has not helped this image, there is no feeling of texture or of the silk your title suggests, to me silk is smooth and well silky, but this is noisy funny colours and a bit messy.

I think using the camera more and photoshop less would have helped this image.

Hope it hasn't put you off submitting more!
